Robert Allen, Co-Founder and Best-selling Author

Robert Allen is one of America’s most influential financial visionaries of his time, sharing his time, sharing his successful wealth wealth-building techniques with thousands of students for more than 20 years. He has taught more people to become millionaires than anyone else in the world!

His signature book, Nothing Down, is the number one, all-time best-selling financial book. Robert has appeared on hundreds of programs, including “Larry King Live” and “Good Morning America” to share his expertise and has also been featured in The Wall Street Journal, Barron’s, Money Magazine and Reader’s Digest. 

His Challenges include taking a couple from a St. Louis unemployment line and, while using his techniques over the next year, they amassed over $100,000! He has thousands of equally amazing documented stories to share and they can be found on The Millionaire Hall of Fame.


 
 


Tom Painter, Co-founder and President

Tom Painter, Co-Founder and President

Tom Painter has been a lifelong entrepreneur and compassionate capitalist. Tom began his relationship with Robert as a member of his road-crew more than 25 years ago! Today, Tom continues his relationship with Robert as president of their companies, Enlightened Wealth Institute and Multiple Streams of Income. 

Tom’s goals for their companies are to influence every student to become a success story and to create raving fans. In addition, Tom’s mission is to develop, from within their students, the next generation of “Enlightened Entrepreneurs.”

Tom has worked tirelessly to develop the Millionaire Hall of Fame, EWI’s student reporting site, to encourage students to success and showcase their achievements, especially including their charitable contributions. He personally monitors this site daily and is always especially interested in reading students success stories.

He has also developed the Money Made Easy program to offer an easy way for anyone, including young children, to learn good money management principles and gain a solid financial foundation.

Tom is a passionate supporter of many worthwhile charities including The Boy Scouts of America, Ouelessebougou and the Teachers Hands Academy in Orlando, Florida, just to name a few. He also tremendously enjoys taking his special needs son and his entire class to Disney Land each year.

Steve is famous for revolutionizing and maximizing the potential of companies. He has turned several fledgling companies into multi-million-dollar moguls. He has helped EWI grow enormously to support its ever-expanding student body. 

He began his business career in college at the University of Utah by starting his own software company and growing it into a multi-million-dollar enterprise. He has since owned and grown several companies. 

Steve is fluent in Japanese and conversant in several other languages, has lived abroad much of his life and traveled extensively. His hobbies include scuba diving, camping, riding and collecting motorcycles and building and playing violins. He brings a vast spectrum of experience and knowledge to EWI. 

His utmost priority at EWI is to our students and he exemplifies integrity in all of his dealings.


 


Paul Rimington, CFO

Paul Rimington, Vice President of Finance, Chief Financial Officer

Paul began his career in Accounting with a Bachelors of Science degree from the Marriott School of Management at Brigham Young University (BYU). He went on to achieve his MBA from the Gore School of Business at Westminster College. 

With this fine education he’s been able to enjoy a successful career with several great companies, the first of which was Lineo Inc., a popular and growing software development company, where he served as the Assistant Controller. Paul became an integral player in acquisition of initial corporate financing and helped guide the company from start-up through Pre-IPO phases.

In 2001 he became the Controller for Meadow Gold Dairies and was just as critical to their growth as a key contributor to the development and implementation of new processing plant just outside Las Vegas, along with assisting in the smooth merger process with a multi-national company.

Fortunately for EWI, Paul joined the EWI team as our Vice President of Finance and CFO in 2004 and has provided a stabilizing force and great expertise during our rapid expansion.

Ron attended Stevens-Henagar Business College and the University of Utah, but is more proud that he graduated Magna cum Laude from the “School of Hard Knocks!”

He has authored numerous books, articles and papers on sales, marketing, goal setting and personal development. He has also served as a consultant and an advisor to Utah businesses and entrepreneurs, counseling them on sales and marketing issues and providing planning and management assistance.

As a sales expert, Ron has offered his expertise at hundreds of speaking engagements, providing valuable information in a fun, easy-to-implement style. As a former president of the Utah Sales and Marketing Executives, he has spent more than thirty years in senior management of sales and marketing positions. 

He is very gratified by the growing success of EWI and his sales teams in particular. He has built one of the strongest and most respected sales teams around.  In his words: “I have been extremely fortunate to experience much love, abundance, joy and fulfillment in many areas of my life. If I can serve as a catalyst to help motivate and inspire people to change their lives, I will have achieved my goal.”

 

Art Nevarez, VP Information Technology Art Nevarez,Vice President of Information Technology


Art graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. He began his career as a Robotics Application Developer for Eaton-Kenway before a long career as the Chief Architect for Novell. He was also the Vice President of Information Technology for Nature’s Sunshine’s International Division before joining EWI in 2004.

Art has been with EWI for more than four years now and has revolutionized our capabilities in delivering a superior education to our students. He has built a state-of-the-art training website where our students have myriad resources at their disposal, including web conferencing, customizable student profiles, course tracking and dynamic homework assignments, just to name a few.

Art provides technical expertise in all areas of technology at EWI. He also manages the IT group and any outsource projects related to technology including web sites, newsletters, email, phone services, security, storage, servers, desktops, hardware and software. He and his team are truly what keeps us online and running!

His favorite quote and what could be called his philosophy on life is: “Life is like a box of choc’lates. You never know what you’re gonna’ get.” Fortunately, his surprises have all been good ones to date where EWI is concerned! He brings a great sense of humor, a positive attitude and vast expertise to EWI and we consider ourselves lucky to have him.
 
 

Sharm Smith, VP EventsSharm Smith, Vice President of Events


With a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Brigham Young University (BYU) Sharm has developed his expertise further in his vast experience as Vice President of IMall Inc., Vice President of Finance at Whole Living Inc. and Vice President of Marketing for Internet Success Systems Inc. He also continues his own consulting business to advise several companies on an on-going basis.

Sharm now employs his talents at EWI by providing the highest quality and most comprehensive events for our growing student body.  We are proud to say that EWI’s events are unparalleled and we have Sharm to thank for his dedication to providing a stellar education to our students.

Our talented Events Department produces the finest educational events available anywhere including several Enlightened Wealth Retreats and hundreds of workshops and bootcamps across the country each year.

Sharm is an avid football fan and season ticket holder at BYU and his blood runs true blue in friendly inter-office U of U rivalry.
 
 

Rex Hudson, VP Training Rex Hudson, Vice President of Training


Rex hails from a strong financial background. With a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Arizona State University and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration with an Emphasis on Finance from Boise State University, he began his career as a mortgage broker before transitioning into the investments world as a stock broker for E.F. Hutton Co. From there, Rex became the Investment Portfolio Manager for West One Bank before becoming their Vice-President of Trust Investments.

Over the course of his long and varied career, Rex has held all SEC licenses for Stock, Bond, Insurance, Options and Commodities. As the VP of Investments for a National Bank he also held a Municipal Bond Principle License and as an Independent investment advisor he held the rare and difficult to attain Registered Investment Advisor License. As the investment manager Rex held discretionary investment authority on over $850 Million in assets.

Rex joined the EWI team as our Vice President of Training in 2006 and now uses his vast expertise to provide a superior education to Enlightened Wealth Institute’s students. He is widely knowledgeable and brings a vast repertoire for our students’ benefit. Rex works diligently to develop a comprehensive and cutting-edge curriculum to best prepare EWI students for their investing careers.
