The Enlightened Wealth Institute (EWI) was created for the sole purpose of providing enlightened wealth-building education to empower individuals to make a positive global impact. We espouse enlightened earning because we believe that is the only way to attain true happiness and wealth in this lifetime.

EWI was co-founded by Robert G. Allen, best-selling author and expert real estate investor, and Tom Painter, a widely knowledgeable entrepreneur and life-long compassionate capitalist.  Their common goal was to create an institution where students could learn the essential tools for creating income and, especially, how to do it in ethical ways which enrich the world around them. To this end, their goal is for every student become an “Enlightened Entrepreneur.” 

With the help of Steve Carlson, Executive Vice President and Chief Operations Officer, and Ron McMillin, Sandy Sales Office VP and General Manager, EWI has grown from a handful of employees in Provo, Utah to a multi-faceted international enterprise with more than 200 employees throughout the United States and Canada serving more than 150,000 students around the world.

Over the lifetime of EWI, our students have reported more than $1,000,000,000 in profit, more than $30,000,000 in charitable contributions to the charities of their choice and more than 9,000 success stories detailing their journeys on the road to wealth. All of these statistics and more may be found on our student reporting site, the Millionaire Hall of Fame.

Once students have learned the principles to conduct their budding businesses, we support them with on-going instruction and offer help sessions and Student Services support for life.

A short visual chronicle of Tom Painter’s visit to the Helping Hands Academy in Orlando, Florida to donate and teach the Money Made Easy program to these students who otherwise may never learn the essential financial tools to overcome the odds already stacked against them. This special needs school serves underprivileged and disabled children who may otherwise fall through the mainstream cracks.  It was our honor not only to provide these educational tools, but to enjoy their special ‘thank you’ performance at the Orlando Enlightened Wealth Retreat.
